This report contains information about the usability of a particular web site. The information in this reports is based on data extracted from server log file(s). It has three parts: main results, specific diagnostics and auxiliary statistics. Access to these parts is by the top menu bar. |
The main menu |
The main menu controls the contents of the sub menu, just below. The menu has three items:

The sub menu |
The sub menu, just below the main menu, controls the contents of the screen area used for displaying this page. For example, this How to use page is controlled by the How to use link, which is the second item below the Guide link in the sub menu. |
The reports |
The reports are located in the main area (the screen area where this page is
displayed). The reports are arranged in sections, in three main parts,
corresponding to the top menu bar: main, diagnostics and statistics. For
example, the sections of the main part are the Summary, Best pages and
Performance reports.
Each section begins with a guide. The reports pages are distinguished from guide pages by the 'Confidential' notice on top and the copyright notice at the bottom. |
Exploring the user experience |
Understanding the visitors experience is enabled by navigating ErgoLight Interactive Usability Reports. To facilitate decision making, the pages are listed and reported in several views, each targeting a specific design concern, such as the speed and accuracy of the users finding a desired links, the user tolerance to performance bottlenecks and the quality of the information displayed on screen. In each of the reports, the pages are listed in a descending order of a correspondingly appropriate statistics. |
